With their bold and expanding presence across France, Edgard Opticiens entrusted Confluence.media with the creative direction and production of a series of commercial short films. The mission: craft a distinct artistic identity aligned with their “décalé-premium” spirit to mark the openings of their new boutiques and showcase their innovative architectural concept.
Shot at the heart of French cities, each dynamic film delivers a cinematic energy that captures Edgard’s urban essence. These films were designed to not just inform, but to resonate emotionally - creating excitement and anticipation around each new location.
Complementing the city reels, our “room tour” capsules take viewers inside the unique architecture of the boutiques, offering immersive glimpses of their refined, welcoming, and design-forward retail spaces.
With this dual narrative, urban movement and architectural storytelling. Confluence set out to build a visual identity as daring and singular as Edgard’s vision.

Lyon – When Architecture Meets Imagination
For the opening of Edgard’s boutique in Lyon, we took a bold step into the unexpected. Directed by Valentin Turgot, the film blends the tactile realism of in-store cinematography with moments of surrealism brought to life through generative AI.
Far from dominating the frame, these visual effects were designed to be discreet ; small interventions that tilt the reality just enough to intrigue. A floating lens, a warped reflection, a shifting texture on a wall: these elements create a subtle dreamlike atmosphere that echoes Edgard’s blend of precision and eccentricity.
